Country Stars Return Home: Bryan and Aldean to Rock Sanford Stadium

By: Brian Zwerner

Athens is getting ready for a historic night. The "Live Between the Hedges" concert series is officially back. Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean will co-headline Sanford Stadium on April 25, 2026. This is a homecoming for two of the biggest names in country music. Both men are famous for their love of the Georgia Bulldogs. They even announced the show live on SEC Nation during a UGA game day.

This event marks the first concert at the stadium since 2013. Jason Aldean was the last person to play here during his Night Train tour. He says playing the hedges was one of the biggest highlights of his career. Luke Bryan grew up going to games in Athens and calls this a dream come true. They are bringing a massive show to their home turf.

The lineup is packed with Georgia talent. Lauren Alaina will join the superstars on stage. She is a Georgia native and a lifelong Bulldogs fan. Her powerful voice is a perfect fit for the massive stadium crowd. Rising star Zach Top is also on the bill. He is a favorite for fans who love the traditional country sound. His inclusion shows that the legends want to support the next generation of real country music.

Fans can expect a multi-million dollar production. The university is excited to bring music back to Dooley Field. It is a win for the school and the local economy. It is also a win for every fan who wears red and black. This show will be a celebration of music and football spirit.
