She gained widespread recognition with her 2023 hit "Austin (Boots Stop Workin')," which reached a high of number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her recent albums include Dirty Blonde (2023) and What Happens Now? (2024). Raised in San Luis Obispo, California, Dasha was a child poet and competitive dancer who began performing in musical theater at age five before learning guitar and piano at eight and recording her first original song at thirteen with the help of her father and brother.
