AGE

Stella Lefty is a Chicago-area singer-songwriter and Atlantic Outpost artist who went from posting songs on TikTok while studying public health at Tulane to landing a top-30 Billboard Hot 100 hit with "Boston," a viral country-pop breakout that has earned her spots opening for Tucker Wetmore and Myles Smith and a coveted Lollapalooza debut in 2026.

Current Tour & Setlist

Stella Lefty is spending summer 2026 as a support act on two major runs: Myles Smith's "My Mess, My Heart, My Life Tour," hitting cities including Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, and Baltimore, and Tucker Wetmore's "The Brunette World Tour," with dates in San Diego, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, and Pittsburgh starting August 20. She will also make her Lollapalooza debut on August 2 in her hometown of Chicago, a festival she has attended as a fan since she was 15. Expect her to perform "Boston," "Thinking 'Bout You," and "I Know I Know" at each stop.

Early Life

Stella Lefty grew up in Glencoe, Illinois, just outside Chicago, writing songs from the age of five, and was raised on a household mix of country and pop. Her father, Groupon co-founder and Tempus AI CEO Eric Lefkofsky, played Tim McGraw and Brad Paisley around the house alongside Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. A regular Lollapalooza attendee from age 15, she dreamed of performing on that stage but never thought it would actually happen.

Career Highlights

Despite writing songs her whole life, Lefty pursued a degree in public health at Tulane University and had no plan to enter music professionally, saying she "didn't know anybody that did that," until she began posting songs on TikTok during college. After graduating high school in 2024, she began releasing music in earnest, and signed with Atlantic Outpost, the country and Americana imprint of Atlantic Records. Her single "Thinking 'Bout You" cleared 15 million streams before her follow-up "Boston", a mid-tempo track about unexpectedly falling for someone, went viral, reaching number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 7 on Hot Country Songs, and landing her spots on Spotify's "Today's Top Hits" playlist.

Family & Personal Life

Lefty has been romantically linked to rising country singer-songwriter Vincent Mason, with the two appearing together in videos and collaborating musically, though neither has publicly confirmed the relationship. The song "Boston" was reportedly written about a real crush, and Lefty has since confirmed she "got the guy."
