Born from a friendship forged in the small town of Lula, Georgia, The Band Loula is a duo that sounds as if old-time country and gospel music had a modern, swampy cousin. Comprised of best friends Logan Simmons and Malachi Mills, the band has captivated audiences with a unique sound that is both haunting and authentic. Their journey began in their early teens, singing together at church, which laid the foundation for the powerful, raw harmonies that have become their signature.

The name "Loula" itself is a nod to their North Georgia roots, a tribute to the place that shaped their sound and their lives. Both Malachi and Logan had their own musical pursuits before coming together, with Logan having a background as a nationally published photographer and Malachi a former American Idol contestant. It was their combined chemistry, however, that created the "swampgrass" aesthetic they've become known for.

Their major-label debut, the Sweet Southern Summer EP, is a testament to their artistic vision and honest storytelling. Songs like "Marshall County Man," a chilling murder ballad, showcase their ability to craft compelling narratives. With a growing fanbase and a production partnership with Grammy-winning John Osborne of Brothers Osborne, The Band Loula is quickly solidifying its place as a standout act, proving that true artistry can emerge from the most unexpected of places.
