Ella Langley Blooms with Dandelion
By: Brian Zwerner
If your playlist has been stuck on repeat since 2024’s hungover, it’s time to sober up and settle in. Tomorrow, April 10th, Alabama’s own Ella Langley officially drops her sophomore effort, Dandelion.
Coming off the massive momentum of her chart-topping smash "Choosin' Texas," Langley isn’t just leaning into the hype; she’s redefining it. Executive produced alongside heavy hitters Miranda Lambert and Ben West, the 18-track project is described by Langley as a "love letter" to the resilience of the common weed. In a stroke of poetic genius, she noted that since dandelion tea is a natural liver detox, naming the follow-up to hungover after the flower simply made sense.
The tracklist, which Langley recently "sprouted" on social media, showcases a blend of grit and growth. From the traditional roots of "Froggy Went A Courtin’" to a high-stakes duet with Lambert on "Butterfly Season," the record promises a sonic journey through red dirt roads and Sunday afternoons.
