Blake Shelton Hits the Big 3-0 with Texas

Blake Shelton is no stranger to the top of the charts, but he's just hit a major career milestone. His latest single, "Texas," has officially become his 30th number one hit on country radio! That's three decades of chart-topping tunes for the Oklahoma native with a whole lot of Texas flair on this track.

Shelton is clearly thrilled about the achievement, especially with this particular song. "It’s been a few years since I’ve had a solo No. 1 single, and I’m super fired up about this one," Shelton says. He admitted, "I had no idea if ‘Texas’ would be a number one song, but the first time I heard it, I knew that it was something different and it sounded like nothing else I’d ever done before."

Thirty number ones? That's a rare feat in the country music world, putting Shelton in some seriously strong company. He took to social media to share his gratitude, writing, "'Texas' marks my 30th No. 1 as an artist. 30 is a lot of anything, and to have 30 number one songs is unbelievable. I’m really trying to take it all in. THANK YOU country radio, the fans, everyone who was part of ‘TEXAS,’ and everyone who has supported me over the years!!!!!!"
