Blake Shelton is a country music superstar and a coach on "The Voice." Known for his baritone voice and playful personality, he's had numerous chart-topping hits like "Honey Bee" and "God Gave Me You." He's also a successful TV personality and businessman.

Current Tour & Setlist

Blake Shelton's confirmed 2026 dates include his ongoing Las Vegas residency, "Blake Shelton: Live in Las Vegas," at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, plus a slot at CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on June 5, the Windy City Smokeout in Chicago on July 12, and a headlining show at Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming on July 23. Based on his recent setlists, fans can expect signature hits including "God's Country," "Austin," "Honey Bee," "Some Beach," and "Happy Anywhere," the duet he recorded with Gwen Stefani.

Early Life

Growing up on a five-acre plot in Ada, Oklahoma, Blake Shelton spent his childhood catching crawdads, playing pranks on friends, and hamming it up with customers at his dad's used car lot and his mom's beauty salon — natural preparation for a career in front of crowds. He began singing at an early age, learned guitar from his uncle at 12, and by 16 had won the Denbo Diamond Award, Oklahoma's top prize for young entertainers, though his childhood was marked by the tragic loss of his older brother Richie in a car accident in 1990.

Career Highlights

At 15, Shelton was performing at the McSwain Theatre in Ada, where he learned to work a crowd, and it was there he met legendary songwriter Mae Boren Axton, who penned Elvis's "Heartbreak Hotel" and encouraged him to chase a career in country music. Just two weeks after graduating high school in 1994, he loaded up a pickup truck and drove to Nashville, where he sold songs to music publishing houses and eventually signed with Giant Records. His debut single "Austin" shot to number one on Billboard's country chart in 2001, and after Giant Records folded, Warner Brothers picked up his contract. He went on to rack up a record-breaking streak of consecutive number-one country singles and became a household name as a coach on NBC's The Voice from 2011 to 2023, with his team winning in nine of his seasons.

Family & Personal Life

Shelton was first married to Kaynette Gern in 2003, and the couple divorced three years later. He then married Miranda Lambert in 2011, but they divorced in 2015. He met pop star Gwen Stefani while they were both coaches on The Voice, and the two married on July 3, 2021 in an intimate ceremony on his Oklahoma ranch. Shelton became stepfather to Stefani's three sons from her marriage to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
