Early Life
Born in 1998 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Emily Ann Roberts was raised in a close-knit musical family where she learned harmonies listening to bluegrass records in her car seat before teaching herself guitar and performing at a local Mexican restaurant.
Career Highlights
After gaining fame as the runner-up on season 9 of The Voice in 2015, Emily Ann Roberts moved to Nashville in 2016 to release her first country single, Stuck on Me and You, in 2018. She built a loyal following through viral TikTok hits like Whole Lotta Little and numerous Grand Ole Opry performances before releasing her debut album, Can't Hide Country, in 2023. In 2025, she reached a major milestone by signing her first major label deal with RECORDS and Sony Music Nashville.

Emily Ann Roberts married her high school sweetheart, Chris Sasser, in 2021 after several years of dating. The couple does not currently have any children. Outside of her music career, she is known for her deep Christian faith and often shares glimpses of her life on her family's farm.
