Corey Kent, an Oklahoma native, is a country singer who rose to fame after appearing on The Voice in 2016. His biggest hits are the RIAA Triple-Platinum, Number One single "Wild As Her" and the Gold-certified "Something's Gonna Kill Me." His major-label albums include Blacktop (2023) and Black Bandana (2024). Kent was nominated for a Breakthrough Male Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Awards and won a CMA Award for New Artist of the Year. He has toured with Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, and Ashley McBryde, and has a collaboration, "Now or Never," featuring Lauren Alaina.

Early Life

Born in Oklahoma and raised in a single-parent household, Corey Kent began singing at age three and joined a touring Western Swing band at 11 before a chance encounter on stage with Willie Nelson inspired him to pursue songwriting.

Career Highlights

Corey Kent moved to Nashville at 17 to pursue songwriting after a chance encounter on stage with Willie Nelson. Following the loss of his first publishing deal, he worked for a paving company in Texas before his single Wild as Her went viral and led to a major label contract with RCA Nashville in 2022. He has since achieved a Number One hit and earned multiple RIAA certifications, including a triple platinum award for his breakout debut single.

Family & Personal Life

Corey Kent is married to Dayna Lou White, whom he wed in 2016. They have four children: daughters Steelie born in 2018 and Capri born in 2020, son Canyon born in 2022, and a fourth child expected in 2025. Outside of music, Kent is a self-described adrenaline junkie who enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time at his family ranch in Oklahoma.

Current Tour & Setlist

Corey Kent is supporting Gavin Adcock on The Day I Hang It Up Tour 2026 starting in July with stops in cities such as Spokane, Idaho Falls, and Columbus. He is also supporting Koe Wetzel on The Night Champion World Tour and is expected to perform hits like Wild as Her, Something's Gonna Kill Me, and Highways.
