Carly Pearce is a country music singer-songwriter known for her traditional and contemporary country-pop sound. Her hit songs include "Every Little Thing," "I Hope You're Happy Now," and "Never Wanted to Be That Girl." She has won four Country Music Association Awards, four Academy of Country Music Awards, one CMT Music Award, and one Grammy Award.

Current Tour & Setlist

Pearce is currently on a run of UK and Ireland dates including Bristol, Manchester, London, Glasgow, and Belfast, followed by a slot at CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on June 6, and a headlining "#ONENIGHTONLY" show at the Lexington Opera House in her home state of Kentucky on June 16. Later in the summer she headlines Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire on August 14 with support from Sela Campbell, and plays the LASSO festival in Montreal in mid-August. Fans can expect her to perform signature songs including "Every Little Thing," "I Hope You're Happy Now," "Never Wanted to Be That Girl," and "We Don't Fight Anymore."

Early Life

Born Carly Cristyne Slusser in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, Pearce developed her love of country music through her grandparents, who played it constantly at home during her childhood, and she took her stage name "Pearce" from her grandfather's surname as a tribute to his influence. By age 11 she was performing with a local bluegrass band at churches, tent revivals, and small venues across Kentucky and Ohio, and at 16 she landed a spot in the "Country Crossroads" show at Dollywood, her idol Dolly Parton's theme park, leaving high school and completing her education through homeschooling while performing up to five shows a day.

Career Highlights

After two years at Dollywood, Pearce moved to Nashville at 19, signed a developmental deal with Sony Music Nashville in 2012, but lost it when her producer was let go by the label, forcing her to work part-time jobs while continuing to write and record independently. Her self-penned "Every Little Thing" found an audience on satellite radio in 2017, climbed to number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, and earned her a major label deal. Her debut album of the same name debuted in the top five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. She has since won three CMA Awards including Female Vocalist of the Year, a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Never Wanted to Be That Girl" with Ashley McBryde, and scored a number-one duet with Lee Brice on "I Hope You're Happy Now," while her 2024 album Hummingbird features a collaboration with Chris Stapleton on "We Don't Fight Anymore."

Family & Personal Life

Pearce was briefly married to fellow country singer Michael Ray in October 2019 and filed for divorce just eight months later in June 2020, an experience that inspired her critically acclaimed 2021 EP 29. After dating former Minor League Baseball player Riley King for two years before splitting in 2023, Pearce went public in July 2025 with her relationship with entrepreneur and dog rescue advocate Jordan Karcher, saying she is "happier than ever" and revealing the two met on the celebrity dating app Raya. She has no children and has spoken openly about her struggles with infertility and her hope for motherhood.
