They will also serve as support for Luke Combs on his "My Kinda Saturday Night Tour" at Wembley Stadium in London on July 31 and August 1 and 2, alongside fellow support act Ty Myers and Thomas Rhett. Early Life
The Castellows are sisters Eleanor "Ellie" Balkcom (born April 2003, age 23), Powell Balkcom (born April 2003, age 23), and Lily Balkcom (born October 7, 2004, age 21), who grew up together on a multigenerational cattle farm in Georgetown, a tiny community in rural southwest Georgia, where they were homeschooled by their mother and raised on a daily diet of gospel, bluegrass, and traditional country music. Ellie and Powell are two of a set of triplets, with their brother Henry the third. Lily is just 17 months younger and the sisters describe themselves as feeling more like quadruplets given how close in age and temperament they all are. Beyond music, the sisters pursued remarkably different paths growing up. Powell graduated from the University of Georgia with an agriculture degree, Ellie was finishing her own UGA degree, and Lily became a licensed pilot before music changed all their plans.
Career Highlights
The sisters began posting stripped-down cover song videos to TikTok and Instagram in 2022 under the name The Balkcom Sisters, drawing on their natural three-part harmonies and the name of their great-grandmother Frances Castellow, and quickly amassed a following large enough to catch the attention of Nashville music industry insiders by early 2023. They moved to Nashville in July 2023, signed with Warner Music Nashville and Warner Records, and released their debut single "No. 7 Road" in October 2023, followed by their first EP "A Little Goes a Long Way" in February 2024; in 2024 they sold out nearly half of their debut headlining tour, released three singles including "Sober Sundays" with Wyatt Flores, and hit the road supporting Little Big Town and Sugarland. They opened 2025 with a second EP titled "Homecoming," a major support run on the road with Thomas Rhett, and a headline "Homecoming Tour" of their own, earning a CMT Music Award nomination for digital-first performance of the year along the way.
Family & Personal Life
The three sisters remain extremely close, having grown up homeschooled together on the same land their family has farmed for generations, and Lily has joked in interviews that their songwriting tends to focus on family and farm life rather than romance because "we grew up on a cattle farm and haven't dated too much." All three are unmarried with no children as of 2026, and all have noted that their father's deep roots in the same seven square miles of southwest Georgia land have been the single biggest inspiration for their songwriting. Eleanor has described herself as a "big nerd" who has been working toward fluency in English, Latin, and Korean.
