Jade Eagleson is a Bailieboro, Ontario-born country singer-songwriter who went from working as a farmer in Alberta to recording the most-streamed debut album by an internationally signed country artist in history, racking up five number-one hits on the Billboard Canada Country chart, winning the CCMA Entertainer of the Year award, and launching his first official U.S. headlining tour in 2026 on the strength of a throwback neotraditional sound rooted in the farm life and family music that shaped him from the very beginning.
Current Tour & Setlist
Eagleson launched his first official U.S. headlining tour, the "Coming to a Honkytonk Near You Tour," in January 2026, hitting intimate venues in Spokane, Portland, Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, London, Ottawa, and Montreal before wrapping in February, with Eagleson promising fans fiddle and steel and brand new music throughout the run. Summer 2026 dates include a headlining show at Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie, Alberta on May 30, and fans can follow his socials for further announcements as he continues building his U.S. presence alongside his dominant Canadian touring schedule. Based on recent setlists, expect signature songs including "Got Your Name on It," "Lucky," "All Night to Figure It Out," "She Don't Know," and "Do It Anyway."
Early Life
Born May 23, 1994, and raised on his grandparents' farm in Bailieboro, Ontario, a small rural community northeast of Toronto, Jade Eagleson grew up working alongside his father tending crops and raising livestock, with his grandfather playing old Hank Williams records in the fields that drew him deeper into country music and its history from an early age. His mother, grandfather, aunts, and uncles were all musicians, surrounding him with music from both sides of his family, and he has cited Paul Brandt, Alan Jackson, and Randy Travis as his foremost early influences, picking up guitar at 12 and teaching himself by ear while still spending most of his days working the land.
Career Highlights
After high school, Eagleson headed west to Alberta to work as a farmer, fully expecting that to be his life, until the misery of being away from music pushed him to take a risk and start playing bars and small clubs across Ontario. He won the Emerging Artists Showcase at Canada's largest music festival in 2017, signed with Universal Music Canada in 2018, and released his debut single "Got Your Name on It" that same year, which became the first debut single by a Canadian artist to go Platinum and the first time a Canadian-signed artist in any genre was featured as a YouTube Trending Artist on the Rise on the platform's homepage, with the video going on to surpass 96 million views. His self-titled debut album, released in 2020, became the most-streamed debut album by an internationally signed country artist in history and has since amassed 335 million global streams, while he has earned five number-one hits on the Billboard Canada Country chart, won the 2023 CCMA Awards Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year, and took Album of the Year at the 2024 CCMA Awards for his third studio album "Do It Anyway."
Family & Personal Life
Eagleson met his wife Marina Paquin on the set of his very first music video for "Got Your Name on It," where she had been hired as a model for the shoot, a love story he has called one of the best things that ever happened to him. The couple have a son named Leviticus Jade, born in November 2019, and Eagleson has said fatherhood has deepened his songwriting and his sense of what really matters, with his family remaining rooted in Ontario while his career has increasingly taken him to Nashville and the U.S. market.
